If you are going skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing on holiday, then you will need our Winter Sports Extension.

You can go off-piste too so long as you are accompanied by or under the instruction of a qualified local guide.

This extension covers you for :

• equipment hire to replace your own lost or damaged equipment – Standard £20 per day / Superior £50 per day.
• loss of ski pass or unused ski due to illness or injury – Standard up to £300 / Superior up to £450
• piste closure due to lack of snow – Standard £20 per day / Superior £40 per day
• delay of outward or return journey due to avalanche – Standard £100 / Superior £500.
• Your own sports equipment is covered under the Personal Effects section of the policy you choose, subject to the Single Item limits.

Cover is only for non competitive skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

You can choose to include a Winter Sports Extension on single and annual multi-trip policies.

It is available at Standard and Superior Levels and for both European and Worldwide cover.
